Unable to install plugins

I purchased two ecommerce plugins . After receiving the links in my email with the API number I tried three times to download links. The first time I received message stating the download was sucessful, but when I pressed the activatelink error message stating that plug in does not have a valid heading. The other two times the error message stated the destination folder already exist. The free plugins I had no problems because there were no links to download
