Stripe transactions not logging

We are having a problem with Stripe donations completing on their end but not on the GiveWP (2.7.2) side (shows as pending). While we sort that out using the docs (another person has the Stripe account password so I need to wait for him to verify the webhook though I suspect it is OK), I looked at the logs at Donations > Tools > Logs > Stripe as suggested in another ticket response and it was “No items found”. There is nothing in the documentation that suggests Stripe logging needs to be enabled. The notes on the donation leads me to suspect that something should have been logged:
