Customizing “link to detail page”

Hi folks and thanks for this great plugin!

When enabling “link to detail page” this setting applies to both the featured image and the title of the post (plus the read more, if any) and links to the relavant page/post.

Is there a way to customize this link for the featured image so that it links to its media file directly instead?
