Hi there. We created a form to collect subscribers on a website via this popup plug-in. After installation and configuration, the popup does appear correctly on the page after the user loads it. But, after entering the data into the form and submitting it, nothing is saved into the WP database that we can see.

From what I can see, data does get sent from the browser to the server – I can see the outgoing POST to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php with my test email addresses and the HTTP response of 200. But, no data is collected in the Subscriber list on the server.

Any help with debugging this situation? Thanks.

  • Dear @veggiespam ,

    Thanks for getting in touch.
Can you, please, check the DataBase?
There needs to be your_db_prefix_sgpb_subscribers table.
The information about subscribers is saved over there.
Please, check and let us know about the results.

The table exists and there are a bunch of records in it, including some of the test records that I created the other day.

None of this info appears in the web interface. Any mechanism we can debug these data reads and why it does not populate your normal webpage?

    Thanks.

    Dear @veggiespam ,

    Thanks for the message!
Can you, please, deactivate and uninstall the current version of the plugin and install and activate this one?
    Here it is: https://we.tl/t-ztoVd8rpg5
Please, don’t forget to leave the Delete popup data section unchecked and after Save changes button clicked in order not to lose the popups you have: https://prnt.sc/tufpqd

Give it try and let us know if that helped.

    Hi there.

We were already using version 3.68.3 of the software. What we ended up doing it exporting the entire user list, exporting our popup settings, deleting the whole app, and then re-adding it via the word-press plug-in store. We then re-imported the data. Seemed to work fine.

    Thanks.

Hi, I am facing the similar issue. I have done everything mentioned above still I am not getting subscribers data in my website backend. Mt data has stopped functioning from the last 6 days.
