    Hello,

I’m using WPML to translate my website and when I search for a product, it pulls results from both languages instead of just the language of the current page.

I tried the integration from this article but it does not work. searching gives no result at all.

I also found this thread on github having the same problem but the solution didn’t work for me because this was for the old plugin I think.

    Any help is welcome

    Thank you

I have a hunch that it may still be unresolved in our fork, as I don’t believe anyone has tried to address this specific one once we started iterating on the code on our won.

I wonder if the solution there would work for the initial release we had, since I’m pretty sure that was an exact copy without any edits until later releases. At that point, it’d be a case of updating after trying the solution pointed out on the article to see if our future versions broke it again.

I have also been pointed to https://gist.github.com/richaber/2385487404dd92ff22bb234f865453bd which I’m told comes from some support in an different WPML based support thread.

Also had it mentioned that if you implemented the code correctly, but aren’t getting what you expect back from Algolia, then it might be that you need to “Push Settings” and “Re-Index” for all the indices.

I made sure I followed the instructions correctly and I clicked on “push setting” and “Re-index” multiple times in the plugin’s settings but it didn’t work. I sent an email to Algolia support but I haven’t heard back from them.

I checked the other links for label translation but I need to get it to work first.

Unfortunately I already switched to another plugin that worked for me.

Thank you very much for your time.

Welcome. Hopefully you achieve everything you need with the site you’re working on.

@nemovich Which plugin are you using? I am on a small LTR, RTL ecom site development. Would be great if you could share

    Thank you

@vemman I switched to this paid plugin

@tw2113 Thank you, I hope Algolia makes WPML integration easier
