    Hi there,

I tried adding a shipping zone with that wildcard zipcode:

    wildcard

And at Checkout when I entered a Canada address in that postal code, it matched and returned my method:

    shipping

If you are still having issues, please send screenshots of:

    – Your list of shipping zones under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping
    – Your settings for that particular zone

I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply here.

Also, please send the URL to a test product on your site, and the shipping address you are testing with.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

Thank you very much for providing that info.

Taking a look at the site, I see there are JavaScript errors in the console every time I change the address and cause it to update the shipping section of the page:

    console errors
    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/kIguXR

They seem to be coming from Square and are about the site not using https:
Uncaught HttpsRequiredError: SqPaymentForm can only be embedded on sites that use HTTPS.

I see the Square payment fields are also not loading.

It’s possible the errors on the page are also preventing shipping methods from being returned correctly when it tries to update.

Based on your screenshots though, the shipping zone looks like it should be set up correctly.

It’s possible something else aside from the errors above could also be causing a conflict. To check for conflicts, please temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce, then check to see if the issue with the shipping methods is fixed. If it is, then you can switch your theme back and reactivate plugins one-by-one until you find the one that is causing the issue.

You can read about testing for conflicts in our documentation here:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Please let me know how that goes, or if you have any questions!

Hey! I did activate only storefront theme and left activated only woocommerce plugin but it continues wont finding the right shipping zones. I dont know what to do about it. I think that theres a problem with this part of woocommerce. The solution for me was to get rid off wildcards and using complete zip codes.

    Hi there,

That is certainly quite odd. As shown in my screenshot a few messages ago, I was able to add L6Y* as a Canada postal code, and it matched without issue when I entered an address at Checkout for that postal code.

If the solution of entering complete zip codes works for you, then that’s great.

Otherwise, if you want to copy/paste the whole list of postal codes as you had entered them, I can test on my site.

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
