• Hi,

    I have added UM plugin and setup user roles but after registration user activation email not working. I have setup SMTP and other emails working properly. I have using Urbango theme in our site. User approved after activate their account.

    Other question is that In registration form i set user role selection drop-down but role not assigned to users.

    Can you suggestion me on this.

    THE SAME PROBLEMS HAPPEN TO ME EXACTLY, DO NOT SEND CONFIRMATION EMAILS AND NOT REGISTER USERS WITH THE ROLES YOU CHOOSE IN A PERSONALIZED FORM.

    OTHER THAN I DON’T INSTALL THE SHORTCODE IN THE DEFAULT PAGES AND I HAVE NO WAY TO LOCATE THE CODES THAT GO ON THEM

    I HAVE HAD TO DO THE FORM AND PUT A SHORTCODE TO BE ABLE TO DO SOME TESTING, BUT IN GENERAL THE EXPERIENCE A DISASTER WHICH COMPLETELY DISCOURAGES TO KEEP WASTE TIME

    THE PLUGIN HAS A REALLY GOOD APPROACH, BUT I THINK IT IS VERY YOUNG AND NOT STABLE, I AM ALREADY LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE

    I also have the same problem. I’m using UM plugin for user registration. Other emails such as Account Welcome Email, Account Deactivated Email and Account Deleted Email work properly. But Account Activation Email does not send to user.

    To use “Account Activation Email”, we need to configure one more step.
    Go to Ultimate Member -> User Roles -> Select the role (Subscriber, Editor, Author, …) -> Click Edit-> Go to Registration Options -> Change the “Registration Status” to “Require Email Activation” -> Update Role.
