    Hi,

Every time I go to www.ads-software.com I see the following – or similar – message on every page:

Этот плагин ещё не переведён на ваш язык (Русский). Помогите перевести его!

I’m in Canada. My mother tongue is indeed accidentally Russian – but I don’t use or need it on the Internet. I also can’t find any setting in my profile that would invoke this message. Plus I see the “Russian translation” messages even when I’m not logged in.

How can I get rid of these messages?

    Thanks for your help!

    Leo

Here are 2 factor that determine language suggestion on www.ads-software.com

    1. Your browser language preferences (Browser settings), they are sent to all sites using Accept-language headers

    2. GeoIP.
It can be correctly shown in WHOIS on your IP, it can be even correctly shown by MaxMind or IP2Location databases. But www.ads-software.com is using same GeoIP base with WordPress.com, it is known to report too many IPs as russian, we often receive such reports.

Since its harmless, you can safely ignore this suggestion, or you can set Canadian french/english in browser preferences.

    Доброго вам дня ??

    Thanks for the info!

Removing Russian from browser prefs solved the issue.
