How to hide all Categories from the Shop page

    How can I hide all, or some, of the categories from the Shop page? (Preferably all.)

    I want to create my own images and links to category pages instead of using the block that is hardwired in and impossible to change.

    I can’t believe that it is impossible to easily change which categories are listed on the Shop page.

    Can I just hide them all with CSS? I have tried two plugins that don’t work properly, they seem to at first but they can’t handle hiding more than about four categories. and I found some CSS snippets but they also didn’t work.

    Hello there,
    You can choose to show products only in Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > Shop Page Display.

    Thanks, but I don’t want to show Products either. I don’t want the hardwired layout at all, I want to build my own layout and links using WooCommerce blocks and other plugins such as Parallax Hero.

    Is there a simple way to hide all the Categories with css?

    Still looking for help with this. I can’t believe that there isn’t an option to either a) choose what Categories display on the Shop page, or b) turn them all off for the Shop page.

    How can I had the Category archive from the Shop page?

    Hi @nicolap. There isn’t a built-in option to turn off categories or select categories for the shop page in WooCommerce but you can customize the shop page entirely by modifying the page template. You can find many guides on the web how to do so, including this one.
