New user registration emails

    Hi,

    I noticed that I have received some notifications to my Email Address about “New User Registrations” and “Password Changes” in a website that I’m building.

    What do they mean?

    The website does not have a “log in” option so I have no idea how they registered.

    Is this bad? Do I need to change something? I’m new to WordPress and pretty confused. Can someone explain?

    Check Settings > General in your site’s Dashboard, and make sure that “Anyone can Register” is switched off.
