block logins from concrete usernames

  • Hi,
    How can I automatically blocks login attemps from concrete usernames like “admin3” or similar? I mean permanent ban.

  • If enabled (in the Local Brute Force Protection module) the iTSec plugin will only instantly lockout (not permanently ban) any host (IP) attempting to login using the “admin” username.

    The plugin does not allow you to specify additional usernames.

    If you are looking for a solution outside the iTSec plugin it’s probably best to open a new topic in another WordPress support forum.

    To prevent any confusion, I’m not iThemes.
