Woocommerce pages blank after changing shop page

    Hi. I created a new shop page(A) and changed woocommerce settings>products >shop page to the new page (B) . Then changed back to the original shop page. Since then all woocommerce pages display blank. But if I change the shop page back to page B, it’s page A that displays. Very strange!
    I haven’t provided a link as site is still under construction.
    I’ve tried disabling all plugins, changing theme. No luck!

    Hi @wpdummy13 ,

    It is possible that the page shortcodes got removed after you changed the shop page. I recommend following the instructions here to install the default pages again: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-pages/#section-1

    Thanks for getting back wpnomad. I really wanted to fix it quick, so I just made a back up of products, uninstalled,reinstalled woocommerce and it seems to be working.

    The reason why I tried changing the shop page was because any text that I add to the Shop page (done on ‘edit page’) doesn’t display. Not sure if you could help with that? Would be much appreciated if you know. Thanks.

    The reason why I tried changing the shop page was because any text that I add to the Shop page (done on ‘edit page’) doesn’t display.

    The shop page uses its own template which basically fetches the products from your store and displays it in the shop page. Most themes won’t show the custom text/content that you add to the shop page – since those are not fetched by the template (however, this can vary theme by theme).

    To set a custom page as the shop page of your site, you can follow the Step 2 (Make the newly created page your Shop Page) in this post – https://quadlayers.com/customize-woocommerce-shop-page/
