My keys wiped out every now and then

  • I have noticed that after some time it asks for Akismet keys and forget about the one’s which i provided when installed. Is that intentional?

    No, that is not intentional.

    The key is stored in the wordpress_api_key option in your options table. Are you running any plugins that might regularly remove data from that table?
