after the last wordpress update the colormag theme was all confused, for example:
The slider is not working, the sliders are one above the other and not passing side by side.
The plugin that shows my youtube videos has also disappeared from the homepage. That is, you cannot view it.
The instagram plugin does not appear correctly either.
And when I enter the panel and check if there is a problem or any problem notification through Wordefence, there is nothing wrong.
    Can someone help me ?

  • I’ve just posted a similar issue. My slider has also changed to static images and stacked on top of one another. I’ve found our that my header menu is unresponsive on mobile devices too. Hopefully someone can help, but wanted to let you know that I am having similar issues since the update too

    Hi @patty2 @quadrado2
Please clear the browser cache and try once and see if the problem is resolved. If the problem still ensues then let me know!
    Regards.

    Hi @quadrado2
Are you still facing the issue?

I’m having the same issue too – even tried rolling back colormag version but this did not work. I’ve resorted to changing the number of slides shown in the slider widget to 1 so that I don’t have static images one on top of the other until there is a fix.

I had this issue too and had to go through my plugins to find a conflict. I found that the Easy Social Feed plugin was the one causing a conflict since the 5.5 WP update and once I disabled this, the slider worked fine again. Hope this helps!

    Hi @shaungr
Could you provide your site so that I can address your issue?
    Thanks!

Hello everyone can someone help me ?? because it seems that the one who tried does not know what else to do..thanks

    Hi @quadrado2
Try deactivating the plugin one by one until the issue is resolved. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles and once the plugin is identified let me know. Could you provide your site url so that I can assist you to find the root of this issue?
    Regards

    Hi @nidwija,

I took your suggestion as I have not seen anyone respond and deactivated several of my plugins. It looks like the plugin (Page Builder by SiteOrigin) is conflicting with widgets using the slider feature.

My theme is the colormag pro current version (3.0.1). In fact WP (5.5), and plugins are all current. I have used page builder since the beginning with no issues until the latest update of Colormag pro.

These are the two widgets that were not working (displayed) until I deactivated the page builder siteorigin plugin.

    TG: Featured Category Slider
    TG: Featured posts (style 7)

It should be noted that when I went into the admin section under customize that I was able to view both of these widgets, but they were not viewable or displayed live on any browser. (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave…)

I don’t know how, but the problem solved itself, I didn’t do anything you asked for and when I opened the site one day it was all right, at least for now.
