  • looks fine to me in Firefox. Maybe a few pixels of difference. Which web browser are you using? it will look slightly different in each one. To make changes you’ll have to modify the CSS on the #feature-data which would raise or lower the entire sidebar.

    Thanks for looking.

I’m using IE7, but I just opened the page in Firefox 3.0.15 and it looks exactly the same. The first sidebar “Featured Pet” is even with the first “Recent Posts.” I want it to be even with Dec 21st entry (Sponge Bob).

I’m using Pretty Spots 1.0.05. When I view the style.css, I don’t see the code you mention (#feature-data).

By the way, this was not a problem until I changed from a static front page to “your latest posts.”

    Any further suggestions? Anyone?

From looking at your theme it was not built to accommodate the function you desire. The content on the sidebar (currently author information) would need to be switched in the code for the widgetized sidebar area at the bottom. You would also need to need to modify the CSS calls for both the author content and the placement of the sidebar.

It would require you to make the div id=”feature” smaller move div id=”feature-data” to a new spot on the page then move the sidebar from it current location at the bottom of the site to up beside the post.

Without downloading the entire theme adding content to it and then making all the edits myself I can’t really be of anymore help then to point you in the right direction to make the edits.

Okay … thanks for that info.

Well, I went back to making the lastest post shorter and so the sidebars are closer to where I want them to be. I guess it is the lesser of two evils (I really liked having the entire post right there, front and center.

I’m going to make this resolved, even though it actually isn’t. But close enough for government work.
