    Team,

    How do you stop WordPress from writing the .htaccess ? My wordpress is rewriting the .htaccess in one of my sites…

    Any ideas?

  • WordPress will only usually write the .htaccess if you change your Permalinks, and then it’ll only touch whatever is between:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    and
    # END WordPress

    So as long as you keep any custom modifications before or after those tags and not inbetween, everything is golden…
