WordPress 5.5+Gutenberg incompatible w/ Yoast?

Yoast SEO alone should have no issues with the jQuery Migrate drop, however, with other plugins and themes involved, there can always be conflicts if anything depends on the old jQuery migrate script.

That said, we have WordPress 5.5, Yoast SEO 14.7, and the Gutenberg v8.7.1 installed on a local environment and opened op some posts and pages but were not able to see Javascript errors. Can you elaborate and/or share a screenshot as well? (you can use a service like https://snipboard.io/ to share screenshots)

If everything on the site is up to date and the errors persists, can you check if the errors also exist when Yoast SEO and the Gutenberg plugin are the only active plugins. Do to this, please use the Health Check plugin troubleshooting mode so site visitors or other users are not affected. I get the error on the bottom on every admin page.
I get more if I click around on specific pages – this specific one is from the /wp-admin/plugins.php?plugin_status=all&paged=1&s page.

If I disable Yoast, that error goes away.
If I disable Gutenberg, that error also goes away.
If I have both enabled, and install jquery-migrate-helper, that error goes away.

only Yoast and Gutenberg activated I mean. I know there are a few others installed.

Thanks for following up!

We were able to find a few issues in the page overview. Looks like the screen options and bulk selection tools are not working when Gutenberg (plugin) and Yoast are active.

We are investigating.

All you need to do is download and install the official WordPress plugin: Enable jQuery Migrate Helper

This is a temporary fix, until developers will fix their old line of codes.

A new version of Gutenberg (plugin) has been released and is said to fix the issue. Can you please confirm if this resolves the problem on your site?
