How can I dynamically display WordPress posts on a custom post type?

  • I have a custom “directory” post type, and also the standard WordPress post type. Each post types have their own categories. What I would like to do is add a condition to my template, where if there is a 1:1 on the category name (or slug), the page will show the standard post types first (news), followed by the relevant directory listings. Is this possible to do using ACF?

    Upon reviewing this further, it seems what I need is “related post” functionality, but I would need this to be a near 100% match with specific categories (by dynamically programmed in the template).
