Disable Category drop down

  • I would like to create a specific page that uses [advert_add]

    The page should have no category dropdown but post to a particular category.

    Is it possible?

  • Do you have the Custom Fields Addon (paid) plugin?

    With that you can restrict the category if you need

    Hi,
    yes, the Custom Fields extension will do what you want for the most part.

    To avoid some custom programming, in the form which posts to a specific category you will still need to still have the Category field but leave there just a single option (that is the category you want to post to).

    You can also use a CSS code snippet to hide the category field from the form.
