Cannot connect to Metamask

    Hi,

    I’m trying to launch an ERC20 token on a test network, but I cannot connect my Metamask wallet to the plugin. At the bottom of the “Add New Coin” form, I can see the blue Metamask connect button, but when I click it nothing happens (tried waiting 5 mins).

    I already had the Metamask extension installed in my browser (Brave) before I installed WPSmartContracts. WordPress is installed on an AWS EC2 instance.

    The weird thing is if I switch network in the Metamask browser extension, the plugin switches network also (shown at the top of wp-admin). Also, if I go to the “Add New Coin” form and scroll to the bottom immediately, I can see the green “Deploy using Ether” button, but then it disappears after a second or two, and the “Connect to Metamask” button reappears instead.

    Also tried deleting browser data and restarting pc.

    Can you help me?

    Try in Metamask in Chrome,

    Looks like there is a conflict in Metamask in brave because Brave has its own Ethereum wallet (web3).

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    I installed Chrome and Metamask extension (and recovered wallet from seed phrase), but it’s the same behavior – nothing happens when I click “Connect to Metamask”, and I also still see the “Deploy with Ether” button if I scroll down immediately (dunno if that’s standard behavior though).

    Maybe it was an issue with the WP version, but our plugin was recently updated, please check again and confirm.
