Just a few more notes to help, I have used 3 different emails that are associated with the seller paypal account starting with the primary email and still receive the same error with all of them.

ran a test for you, the information looks correct in what is being sent.

Can you disable all other plugins, and then check with a default theme to see if it works?

But I have yet to release a version that I have tested for 2.9, so there may be an issue I am not yet aware of.

So . . . I first tried all deactivating all the plugins, then changed the theme to default, and it still showed an error at the paypal page on all attempts?

It must be something with the current version of wordpress!

    Any other ideas?

not at the moment, keep an eye for the next release of eShop, and if that doesn’t fix things post again to let me know.

Any ideas when the new version will be released?

no, but I’ll be starting on it sometime next week.

So I downloaded the latest update hoping that would fix my problem, and it did not! I looked through the changelog, and there is nothing really in there indicating that there was a fix in place any ways. Is there anything that I can do to help streamline the process?

Did you optimize for 2.9.1? Should I upgrade or just leave it alone for now?

I tested things with paypal in test mode from my test site and it works. so there could be something at your end stopping the info getting to paypal. Check all the settings are correct in the paypal section of the merchant gateways on the settings page.

It works, for me at least, in 2.9.1

Okay so in the about setup section it shows:

    Going Live with eShop

On the Settings – eShop – Merchant Gateway page you then need to change the following.

    * Business Location — Your 2 letter country code.
    * Currency Code — your 3 letter currency code.

If using Paypal then those setting must match those at Paypal.

You then need to enter various settings depending on the payment option you choose to use.

On the main Settings – eShop you will need to change these settings:

With the “* Business Location — Your 2 letter country code.” I don’t see anywhere to mark that as your business location, I only see the section for all the accepted states and their codes, but nothing that identifies that one of them is YOUR Business location?

    Did I miss something there?

Nevermind I figured that all out!

I’m out of ideas I have messed with all the settings to try different things to make sure that they are all what they are suppose to be.

I upgraded to 2.9.1 to see if that would help after reading the changelog for that version.

I tested in live mode as well, and that works fine. I can only think that something is wrong at your end – something is stopping the form values from being sent over. I have no idea what though, sorry.

    Don’t understand it!

I rebuilt my site from a fresh install on wordpress version 2.8.6 and setup new installs with the eshop plugin, I added all the account information in new, and STILL get the error when redirected to paypal!

I tried a different paypal account with the same settings and that didn’t work either!

    I’m at a loss?

post a sample cart to paypal support forum (ie source code from the page) and see if they can spot anything.

I’m having a server error 500 issue when clicking to confirm.

I suspect it’s a redirect to paypal issue. I’m not sure if cart values are being sent or not.

If this gets resolved, I’d like to know what the problem was, if you don’t mind posting it.
