Recaptcha v3 handling spam

Hello,

I can’t seem to find a straightforward answer on the internet about how recaptcha v3 in CF7 handles spam messages. I understand how to integrate recaptcha v3 and how v3 works (the score system). I also know that – if the badge is showing on the page – the recaptcha should be working.

But what exactly CF7 does with the “low score” a.k.a. spam messages? What if a user is accidentally scored as a bot? What happens on his screen when he tries to submit the message?

Is it possible to implement v2’s image challenge to solve the false positives?

This question is targeted on CF7 and recaptcha v3 in general and not on a specific problem on my website.
