• Any idea why, under Users, the BOTTOM Bulk Action —> Delete isn’t working? If we use the top button it works fine.

    1. Select a few users in the User list
    2. Scroll down to end of list and select “Delete” in the “Bulk actions” drop down
    3. Click “Apply”
    4. Confirm deletion
    5. You now get a page with “Something went wrong.” or “The link has expired.”

    If you instead do the same but use the TOP Bulk action drop down, it works just fine.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Thanks t-p. I tried with all plugins disabled and that didn’t change anything. Just now I also tried by switching to the 2020 WP theme and it broke the site (critical error). I’m restoring it right now.

    I’ll see if it clears itself up the next time a WP update comes out since I don’t dare messing with it again.

    Unless you have another solution to propose.

    Hi again, also installed Site Health and did Troubleshooting mode. That too created a critical error and broke the site.

    Please check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message, which may give a clue to why this is happening on your website/server. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that. If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find any helpful info in the error logs, enabling debugging.     Remember to put things back to normal afterwards.
