WordPress 5.5 related update creates plug-in conflict

I have been using your plug-in for a few years now and never had a problem. I updated to WP 5.5 and any J Query based slider (e.g. Slider Revolution and Simple Slider 3) failed to load slider images on my site (running Theme X and all plug-ins at the most recent versions). Disabling Image Rotator Widget fixed the problem.

I’d like to keep using Image Rotator Widget but I need it to be compatible.

What are your thoughts? I can provide a login if you would like to investigate further.
