Problems with Yoast Duplicate Post after Polylang update

I have the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin installed. After the last update of Polylang v.2.8, when cloning or creating a new draft, the link is pulled to the translation of the previous post (from which a copy is made). After editing the copied post and publishing, the previous post (from which a new draft is made) is completely deleted. Is there a way to go back to the previous version or fix this error somehow?
