• So I have my old blog and my new blog.

My new blog has all the old blogs content but not the google love that the old posts receive.

I want to set up each post and page so that visitors automatically get forwarded to the new site (not just the home page) but specific posts.

Is there a plug in to do this where I can simply copy in the new sites url and my old sites visitors will find the content they want on my new website?

PS – I don’t want to simply put a link to the new site at the bottom of each post

    thank you

  • Perhaps you will find the redirection plugin helpful. that will foreword specific pages from the old blog to specific pages in the new blog,

however, the 301 redirect is a permanent redirect, so think about it before you apply it. this way, all the link love of your old blog will be transferred to your new blog ??

I googled “301 redirect wordpress” and found a couple of free plugins so will give it a try – thanks for the advice – I will let you know the solution that works out for me.
