Want same Theme From My Free Blog For New Hosted blog

  • I just switched from a free wordpress blog to a hosted one. My blog is hosted on Ipage. I was able to import all of my content and images to the new hosted blog, however, my theme and gravatar did not switch over to the new blog. I want the same theme and gravatar I have on my free blog transfered to the hosted one. Please anyone who can explain exactly what to do in layman’s terms help me with this. It is very frustrating considering everything else I have to do to get my hosted blog up to par.

  • WordPress.com themes are not the same as www.ads-software.com (self-hosted) themes. If I where you, I would take the opportunity to explore some new themes. If you’re hesitant to pay for a premium theme, there are many decent free themes available. Treat it as a new beginning!

    As for your gravatar, you’re referring what you’re using for gravatar.com? If so, it should work without a hitch. If you want to post your link, that would give us a better idea of what you’re referring to.

    Your Gravatar should correspond to your e-mail address used on the wordpress.com blog.

    Maybe you need to change the e-mail address on the new blog to be the same or just add another e-mail to your Gravatar account.
