Stuck on maintenance

Good day, i am having a problem with my website it is stuck on maintenance mode, then when i try to login to my dashboard it shows the maintenance mode message and i was told to delete the maintenance file i gave it a try and its still stuck on maintenance mode i need help any tips on what i can do
