Do not use Dokan plugin! Full of bugs

Do not use this plugin to run your marketplace!
Dokan constantly promote their plugin and celebrate the success of 50,000 uses while their current customers have failing marketplaces due to the significant bugs which are taking weeks if not months to fix despite constant posts in their facebook group and tickets. They blamed Covid for bad support which would be forgivable if they had not been advertising constantly to get more people to invest in their paid version of the plugin meaning more strain was being put on the support staff creating even worse customer support.

I have no idea how this company is still operating when its marketing and documentation give countless false statements. There is just too much wrong with this plugin to state here but some of the main frustrations felt by many are:

1. Features which appear to be included natively in Dokan do not work without additional paid plugins.
2. Payment gateways which are stated to work but don’t. Advertised direct payments going to marketplace owner (instead of vendors) and charges being charged to marketplace owner for the entire amount!
3. Shipping that is near impossible for vendors to understand, resulting in vendors not adding shipping so customers are unable to buy.
4. SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) a legal requirement when selling online does not work in Dokan.

The significant bugs affecting checkout are beyond forgivable!

Something needs to happen and I am sure Dokan will be banned soon from numerous complaints unless they fix these issues straight away and give refunds to any of their paid users and compensation to all us free users for the stress and desperation felt by many.
