• Hi I am getting irregular critical errors on my website. I checked the logs and have this error message:

[31-Aug-2020 08:46:56 UTC] PHP Fatal error: [snuffleupagus][disabled_function] Aborted execution on call of the function ‘curl_setopt’, because its argument ‘$option’ content (81) matched the rule ‘Please don’t turn CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST off.’ in /home/wickedwebs/public_html/wp-includes/Requests/Transport/cURL.php on line 150
[31-Aug-2020 09:05:40 UTC] PHP Fatal error: [snuffleupagus][disabled_function] Aborted execution on call of the function ‘require_once’ in /home/wickedwebs/public_html/wp-content/themes/receptar/inc/class-svg.php on line 96

I’ve read many conflicting answers on how to fix it. Has anyone got any ideas?
    Thanks

  • Hello,

It clearly shows that your server has disabled the function curl_setopt. It’s easy to contact your hosting company and ask them to enable that.

    Thanks

    Okay – thanks ??

Hi, how are you? I also had this same problem. My hosting service provider supports WordPress problems and soon resolved them. They said it was only necessary to activate the extension: “snuffleupagus” so they did. I had great support from Hostgan for this problem.
