Strange. There should be at least a button for “reinstall”.
Have you tried to set a different version number? So not the one you want, but a lower one, for example?

Same issue here – 5.4.2 will not show as an option, and the auto-update pushed it to 5.5.1 (and now will go to 5.5.2 shortly?). Meanwhile the broken stuff I haven’t had a chance to replace is back to being broken on the latest version of WP…. even tried your suggestion of a different version – did not show in Updates either.

@reisetiger, and word or update on this not working? Was my go-to for a handful of sites… now not doing anything to provide a downgrade on the Updates page as advertised… :-/

Generally wp downgrade still works, even with 5.5.3. Unfortunately I don’t know why it doesn’t work for you. It could be interfering with another plugin or the theme, or even a hosting setting. Please also see the FAQ for this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-downgrade/#faq

Otherwise manual downgrade via FTP. I’m sorry.
