    Hey there,

Over a week ago the ‘My Account’ link (and its dropdown menu) located in the main menu area of my website stopped functioning.

I have updated wordpress, along with all plugins and themes. I deactived all plugins except for woocommerce for testing purposes, however the ‘My Account’ link remains useless.

Is there anyone here who may be able to offer any advice or help?

Any help would be much appreciated
    Cheers

    Hey @anasazixxx,

The first thing that I would suggest checking is that there is a “My Account” page on your site (on the Pages > All Pages list) and then make sure that the [woocommerce_my_account] shortcode is still shown on that page.

This doc has some more info about setting up and recreating that page (and other ‘core’ pages), as well as making sure that WooCommerce knows that is the correct page to use for the My Account page, so I’d suggest giving it a read and let us know if that doesn’t resolve the issue for you.

    Thanks!

    Hi Shaun,

Thanks so much for your assistance. I followed all your instructions, however ‘My Account’ link remains totally useless.

I was wondering if I should remove the woocommerce plugin (along with its database info) and re-install the plugin, configure the settings, then see if the link functions as it should.

Not sure what esle to do at this point
    Cheers

    Hi @shaunkuschel

I installed wordpress on a test domain (https://pruebas.space), the iBid theme, all required/recommended plugins and still have the same issue.

If I activate a free plugin like 2020, the ‘My Account’ link in the menu area doesn′t appear, so I am unable to test it.

If I physically add the ‘My Account’ page to the main menu, it works perfectly.

Although I don′t wish to do it, maybe I need to just add a ‘My Account’ link to the menu area with its own dropdown menu for the pages such as ‘dashboard’, ‘edit account’, ‘logout’, etc

    Any thoughts or advice?

    Thank you
    Marc

    Hey Marc,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. Are you able to copy the Status Report for the test domain that you created and share that info here so I can take a closer look?

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Kind regards,
