Google bot crawling frequency

  • Our web host has told us that the google bot is crawling events paths related to My Calendar. The paths in question don’t seem to be navigable on the front-end of our website, so I’m not sure how Google is finding them.

    Any advice so we can lower the crawl rate by Google bot? It is regularly once a second or every few seconds.

    Can you give an example of something that you don’t think is available to Google? If I knew what exactly was being crawled, that would probably help identify the options.
