• Howdy friends.

Within the last week or so I’ve noticed that “Home page” has started showing up in my Top Posts And Pages section of my Site Stats. And unlike the other top posts listed, “Home page” has no hyperlink.

Has anyone else seen this happen recently? Does it mean anything? My blog has been running for over a year and this is the first time I’ve seen “Home page” listed in that section.

    Thanks!

  • It’s a new feature. It doesn’t change how your stats are counted. It only exposes some data that was hidden before.

    Well aren’t I an alarmist? ??

Thanks for the info Andy, and more importantly, thank you for your patient reply.

And suddenly, as if by magic, Home Page is showing up with a hyperlink. Weird!

Is there a way to turn it off?
I think it is possibly causing a serious increase on CPU drain server side? My host is contacting explaining:

I could find that your account was consuming too much of resources on the server which was degrading the performance of the service on the server.

They are specifically referring to my index.php file
