Creating a gallery in WordPress

  • I would like to be able to create a gallery of images. That is to say a bunch of thumbnails, linked to a bunch of corresponding images.

    1. Does Word press have a gallery plug-in?

    2. Can a gallery, as described above, be created within a post? so for example I would have a small thumbnail gallery of “this week’s pictures” within a post, each thumbnail would link to an image somehow.
