I really have no idea what’s going on and if this is the correct place to ask for help.

I was deactivating plugins and getting ready to delete some when the page crashed?/reloaded? and I got this:

Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: invalid range in character class at offset 55 in /home/walteral/public_html/amandabenham.com/wp-content/themes/photocrati-pro/pope/lib/class.component_registry.php on line 791
/home/walteral/public_html/amandabenham.com/wp-content/themes/photocrati-pro/photocrati-gallery/module.photocrati_gallery_legacy.php is not a valid Pope module

I can’t access the website and even the admin login. Again, I have NO IDEA what’s going on and even what to do. I’ve tried looking at some of the FAQs on WordPress and I’m just lost. Anything anyone can tell me will be VERY helpful.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Alright, so I can’t 100% sure say I can help you fix this, but let’s try some steps here that might allow you to at least gain access to the dashboard. Can you get file access, and rename the folder “photocrati-pro” in /wp-content/themes/ to “photocrati-pro-back” and then try to load WordPress? That will disable the theme for now, which seems to throw your errors there.

Also- if you’re having any sort of error 500 code, I would check your .htaccess file in your WordPress directory, if you have one. Sometimes, the regex stuff in there can throw everything off.

Another thing you could try is setting the PHP version to 7.2, if it’s on anything later than that now. 7.2 is very stable for WP, and if the errors go away that might point to something there as well.
