Quick Edit link doesn’t work

  • For some reason, the Quick Edit link has stopped working. This includes Pages, Posts, and other areas. It was fine one day and didn’t work the next. The link is still everywhere that its supposed be, but when I click on it, nothing happens.

    I’ve done numerous searches and found very little on this topic.

  • I am running into the same issue on my site. In addition to the quick edit not working, Product details, product tags and several other links are not working for me. Click on them and nothing happens.

    Solved. Deactivated all plug-ins. That restored the Quick Edit functionality. Then I went back and re-activated each plug-in one at a time. Each time, I checked to see if the problem was fixed. Eventually I came across one plug-in that was causing the problem. I use the Astra theme, and they have a tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWEnKnzwc0U

    Sorry, I can’t remember. I am fairly new to WordPress. I installed many plugins while experimenting with various features. I suggest doing what they say in the video: disable ONE plugin and check if that solved the problem. If it didn’t, re-enable that plugin and move on to the next one. It really only took about 5 minutes.

    I had same problem, the plugin Fast Carousel was the problem for me.

    We found it to be a javascript plugin conflict caused by “Disable Admin Notices Individually.”
