Defender + Mask Login + Wholesale (Login/Registration) Not Working

Its the Wholesale Lead Capture Plugin from the Wholesale Suite Plugin at https://wholesalesuiteplugin.com/

By the way, the Prevent PHP execution feature asks the administrators to add the full paths to the file.

After a while of looking why my cron jobs wouldn’t run I found out your plugin forgets to add the / to the Full path. I am pretty sure that it’s not the right way, but I am not an expert on htaccess rules.

So I then just put the file’s name and now it works. (cron.php)

Add exceptions to PHP files you want to continue to run. Include the full paths to the file.

Just wanted to mentioned that as a feedback of my tests with your plugin.

Nice, i have done the easily hide your WP login with Defender. I have copied my new adress but gess what? I get an white page with Not Found.
Now i cant get in to my dashboard anymore. How do i correct this?
Please, give me an answer.

If these custom login pages include strings like “login”, “wp-login”, “wp-admin” and similar in URLs then there’s, I’m afraid, a bug in Defender that blocks them in addition to “regular” login/registration pages.

This is a glitch in plugin and our developers are already aware of it, working on a fix to be released with one of upcoming updates.

If you’re getting a white screen instead of login form then it means that there’s most likely a conflict with theme or another plugin that’s causing it.

Easiest way to regain access to site would be to manually disable Defender by renaming “defender-security” folder inside “/wp-content/plugins” folder to e.g. “defender-security-OFF”.

It will give you access but for further troubleshooting please create your own separate ticket, as per this forum rules. We’ll be happy to assist you in pinpointing the issue and finding a way to fix it there.

Hi Adam, that helped. This plugins allows you to pick the URL and Name of the page where I can put the shortcut. I switched it from wholesale-login to wholesale-customers and it works. I can login with Mask Login Area enabled.

You guys have to be aware of this because I am pretty sure your customers are the ones that manages ecommerce website with woocommerce cart mostly, they are the ones that may use wholesale plugins and this situations may show up.

Thanks for replying, the fix was the change of URL to get rid of login.

My suggestion is to have a plugin selection in Defender to exclude from blocking.

Our developers are already aware of this situation and we are creating a fix that should be included on the next plugin version.
