• Hi guys
I’m not able to upload a profile picture or profile image.
If I understand things, upon uploading a profile picture I’m supposed to hover a circle on the picture to chose which part will be seen. I don’t see any cercle. When I click on implement (Or whatever it’s called in English) nothing happens.

Same thing with background image. I upload and click on implement and nothing happens. No error message, nothing!

    Can you help?

    Cheers!
    Djamila

    Hi @dbsweden,

This issue can be due to some conflicts with your theme or one of your plugins.
Please do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts and see if this issue goes away.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test.
Please also see this doc on how to troubleshoot image uploads.

    Regards.

    Hi
I now have tried to solve the probleme with the help of the docs you provided with no luck.
I even had help from an expert and he didn’t solve it either.

As far as he can se I have all the permissions the users need (read, write and execute). When the user upload a picture it get stored in the server. The administrator sees it. But the picture is not linked to the user’s profile.

It seems that the link of the image is not updated and the link of the default image remains in place.

    Can you help me please!

    Hello
I still can’t upload the background picture and the profile picture. The square to crop the image won’t appear either.

Can anyone give me an idea of what’s causing this or what I can do to solve it. Please! Just brainstorm for me.

    Thanks!

    WP 5.5.1
    Elementor 3.0.7
UM 2.1.8 (After reading a lot of posts from people upgrading to later versions just for UM to stop working, I’m reluctant to update UM)

I have done theme conflict test and checked roles and permissions and nothing seems to work.
