    Hi
Really useful plug-in, has proven invaluable in my new theme design using Chaplin. So thank you!

I’ve only just noticed a potential issue, that I think is relatively recent.

When you select an accordion item live on the page, the page scrolls/jumps too high, goes up under the fixed header menu and hides the first few lines (depending if the title is one line or two.

I had assumed that altering the Scroll Pixel Offset would fix this, but no values seem to make any difference.

Also, even if I uncheck ‘Scroll to Accordian Item’ it will still scroll regardless, and cut off the top of each according element.

I have tried with and without WP Rocket Cache, and all the various minify and combine options, just to eliminate any clash there, as well as several browsers.

It’s not hugely important, but just a little annoying as people would need to scroll back down a bit to be able read the start of each FAQ

So to summarise, as I know I waffle:
Would appear that unchecking the Accordion Item Settings doesn’t work as intended, and that Pixel Offset doesn’t seem to do anythign.

Any ideas in why this might be?

    Many thanks
    Graham

I think the issue is you’re using multiple scroll offsets (276pxand 0px) and only some accordion items have scroll turned on. Ideally you want all the scroll offset values to be the same since each accordion item uses its own settings. Also, I think 276 is probably too much in your case. Given that your fixed header is about 90px in height, I’d recommend a value of 100 or so.

Can you try turning scroll on and setting the scroll offset value to 100 for all of the accordion items on the page?

You can use the “Set as Defaults” and “Restore Defaults” buttons to quickly apply the same settings across each item.

Oh my goodness, my bad. Had assumed the settings applied to the whole block rather than individually.

So this makes perfect sense. The 276 was just an extreme test to see if the elements shifted at all.

I’ll go back and do as you suggest and I’m sure that will do the trick. Will let you know Over the weekend.

Many many thanks for the reply,

So yes, you were quite right with your comment. I hadn’t applied the defaults to each item, so now the entire page of the accordion blocks work perfectly.

100px seems to be pretty spot on as well.

Thank’s so much for a really useful plug-in, and works so well with Gutenburg.

    Regards
    G
