Post – Adding featured image opening page, not popup dialog

  • I’m using WP 5.5.1.
    From a post, when I click the ADD FEATURED IMAGE link, instead of opening the normal popup dialog box to select an image from my media gallery, it is opening a full page with the page title “Add media files from your computer”.

    I’m not sure how this ended up happening. Everything was working well just a few days ago.

    I’m using DIVI Theme and Builder.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    That’s an older plugin. Not updated in 5 months. Still ok to use?
