• I’m running WordPress 1.5-beta-1 2005-01-12 and Kitten’s Spaminator version 1.0rc7.
    No I have noticed that after every comment this pice of code is placed:
    <!– X-spaminator-passed: IP check –><!– X-spaminator-passed: email check –><!– X-spaminator-passed: author url –><!– X-spaminator-passed: comment body –>

    Can somebody tell me where I can disable that without disable the plug-in?
    Every comment that is placed has that code and I don’t like that.

  • I’m using this plugin, and that code only shows in the email notification of comments, not on the actual blog.

    Do you just want to remove it from the email?

    It’s in the comment when somebody placed on the blog itself, I don’t have a email recieve function on,
    For example I have a post that says “how is the weather”
    When somebody place his reaction like “Snow and cold” spaminator adds <!– X-spaminator-passed: IP check –><!– X-spaminator-passed: email check –><!– X-spaminator-passed: author url –><!– X-spaminator-passed: comment body –> Behind the comment in blog???

    From what I can see there’s no method to do this that’s already built in but if you comment out the line that reads:

    $this->post['comment_content'] .= "<!-- X-spaminator-passed: $how -->";

    It should remove those bits.

    Bah it looks like the line wrapped, it should be one line, line 489 in my text editor.

    Your milage may vary of course.

    Send a note to Kitten asking her about this, and perhaps suggest some enhancements if you like.
