    Greetings,

I don’t know what’s up with WordPress 5.4. 2 I delete custom widgets, and hit update, and the widgets are still installed. I have a plugin that I use that I had to deactivate (WebsiteVoice) due to the fact that it reads some of the pages correctly, and others it does not. How do I downgrae WordPress 5.4. 2 to fix these issues.

Initially I thought it might have been the plugins, as I tried 2 text-to-speech plugins, and both acted the same, and then I attempted to delete the widgets, but as I said after deletion they were still there. I am using the classic editor plugin as Gutbnberg sucks as well, and has since they implemented it.

NOTE: The reason for my domain having the https:// instead of https:// is because of query errors on the server which are in the process of being fixed, hopefully with 24-72 hours.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Your domain name doesn’t resolve at all. Did you just move it to a new registrar or something?

You are correct it doesn’t resolve. I moved it about 2 weeks ago from Godaddy to Hostgator, but had been having issues getting Cloudflare to deactivate my 2fa as I lost my access to delete any and all domains from Cloudflares Servers as the DNSSEC was causing an issue as it relates to the installation of the SSL Certificates. The Cloudflare 2fa issue has been resolved, but the propagation didn’t start until yesterday morning, so its a waiting game on that.

The issue here is Glitches with WordPress 5.3.2

Are you saying the issues I am having are due to it not resolving?

No, I’m saying I can’t see the site so I have no idea what might be happening…

I do see the DNS records at HostGator’s NS8319.HOSTGATOR.COM but they are not propagating last time I looked.

Usually, an issue with DNS is a sign that other issues are present also.

I’m not at all sure the WordPress install is at fault yet. I’m wondering if it is a hosting issue, comms, or what?.

I am still working on the not resolved. Hostgator had to up the ticket to Launchpad. My understanding is they are a 3rd party contracted company, and for some reason Hostgator can’t find the place to deactivate the DNSSEC. Now its a waiting game for Launchpad to fix the issue. Hopefully that will be no later than Wednesday. I will update you further when I hear back. I appreciate your help with this issue.
