    Hi All,

    I am trying to integrate woocommerce with orderhive. However, orderhive says this is the current problem:

    “But when he tried to use consumer key and secret key from your WordPress/WooCommerce admin, the keys were invalid for 3rd party access. Orderhive relies on the consumer key and secret key for connecting with WooCommerce. But it seems the keys present in your WooCommerce admin account are not capable be used by 3rd party app like Orderhive.”

    Any idea what is wrong?

    @thecigarthief I’m not familiar with the Orderhive product or code, so I can’t help a lot in that regard.

    From your description, it sounds like they are having issues with the REST API keys that you provided to them. To make sure things are set up correctly, you can check what are the current permissions of the keys they are using. You can do that from WooCommerce > Settigns > Advanced > REST API. The available premissions are Read, Write, and Read/Write.

    The permission is read/write. So that isn’t the issue. I don’t know what else the problem would be.

    In my experience server settings. This can take some time to find out and only makes sense if you have root access to control the machine.

    A good alternative for REST API authorisation is: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/application-passwords/

    or using JWT or Oauth2.
