Favicon is not showing up in Google Search

I have uploaded my Favicon to Customize >> Site Icon. But it’s not showing up in google,
I checked my website’s HTML source code and there is no favicon link there,
eg, <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”https://favicon.ico”>, this type of link was not there,
So I need to add a shortcut icon code manually with any WP plugin?
