    Hi All,
I have installed the A/B Test plugin to my website https://andersondodson.com and have created two newsletter forms and have converted both forms into the A/B Test on the page (https://andersondodson.com/test-page/) in the sidebar.
Whenever I test this page after logged-in then at the top I can see the dropdown for variant A and variant B.
If I click on A then I can see the newsletter without title (I have added the title only with A variant to see the difference in both forms) and if I click on B then I can see the other newsletter form with title.
But if I test this without logged-in then I can not see the dropdown for variant A and variant B.
This is the issue I am facing, So please let me know if I am missing something or something wrong with plugin.

    Thank you

    Hi Olson,

The dropdown for variants in the frontend is build into the admin bar, this bar only shows if you’re logged in and an admin.

    Hope this clears it up.

    Kind regards,
    Gaya

    Hi Gaya Kessler,
    Thanks for your reply

Please let me know Is it possible to use two forms (Converted forms to A/B Test) with A/B Test on different two pages or widgets and if yes, then how can I make it to work?

Sure, you can do this using short codes:

Yes, @gayakessler I have used shortcode for A/B Test, what I have done I will explain to you:-

I have created the A/B Test and put the newsletter1 to the variant A and in variant B I have put another newsletter2 and copied the shortcode of it to the primary widget then I have created two pages https://andersondodson.com/test-page/and https://andersondodson.com/a-b-tests/
And have called the primary widget to both pages to show the forms.

Now I want to show variant A for the first page and variant B for the second page, and this makes me in trouble I can not show the individual variant for individual pages, please let me know if it is possible or I am missing something.

    Hi Olson,

A/B tests are meant to test two different variations of content in the same stop, not across two different pages.

You’d have to a different analytics tool to measure the conversions of each newsletter variant.

I hope this answers your question.

    Hi @gayakessler,

I noticed a couple of things not working right when editing the A/B tests.

For the Testing Goal, these are 2 things I noticed:

1)The developer instructions in the dashboard say:
“You can pick a post, page, or URL as a tracking goal. Outbound links are good for tracking traffic to websites which are not yours.”

I have 2 different URLs, one for Calendly and one for TypeForm. This part is not allowing me to select 2 different URLs for the 2 different forms (in the Goal settings). I think there might be a plugin conflict or ajax issue.

    2) Gravity forms option:
While editing A/B test, I can see on the right side there is a dropdown where I can choose a form as the Goal. But when I choose Gravity Forms in our case, none of the Gravity Forms show up on the list.

Please let me know about both above issues.

    Thank you

    Hi Olson,

You can track one goal at the time. Tracking multiple goals is a feature to be implemented.

I’ve had reports of Gravity Forms not showing up, but I haven’t had time to test it out yet since I have very little free time to work on this.

    Kind regards,
    Gaya
