Cart & checkout pages not working and payment errors

Hi, my cart and checkout pages seem to not be working. I updated plugins yesterday and I assume that caused the issue. I assumed it was the main WooCommerce plugin that was causing the issue so I rolled it back to the version that is supported by the theme but the problem is persisting. The cart and checkout pages are not displaying products in the cart when they have definitely been added (they are showing in the little cart pop up window). After a bunch of refreshes or adding other items to the cart, I can sometimes get it to work.
Also, I’m getting this error on payments (we use Square) “An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment.” when you’re eventually able to cart/checkout to work.
My theme is Onea from ThemeForest. They haven’t not put out an update since December 2019 but say they have one coming soon.
