I’m considering buying the Order Splitter plugin, but need to make sure it can do what I need first.

My scenario is that we sell foods in our WooCommerce store.
    – Some foods are always in-stock and can delivered immediately
    – Other foods are often ordered in advance but can delivered to the customer maybe a month after they’ve ordered.
That means I have to split an order after checkout and the thank you message.

An order can have different food products. Each food product belongs to a category (category stands for the vendor)

I need this plugin to split products dependent to her category. Products with category 1 and 2 should split into their own orders (One Order for category 1 and one order for category 2) and remove them from the parent order (so that the parent order only contains products of category 3 – 12).

I am using decimal amounts for product quantities (e.g. 0.45 kg tomatoes). This should also be possible in the splitted new orders.

I couldn’t quite achieve this testing the free version, but will happily purchase the pro version if it can be done?

    Thanks
    Siegfried

  • @uebes For your first scenario “In-stock/out of stock” method works the same as you want. For category and vendor base splitting there are “Grouped Categories and Group by Vendor” Methods available. I refer you to watch the following videos and check are these videos fulfill your requirements or not.

    Vendor Based Videos

    Thanks,

With in stock/ out stock method, plugin will separate in stock and out of stock items. So items will be grouped as in stock items in one and remaining items in other order. Mange stock should be enabled from porduct-edit page to make this method working.

with group by vendor method, plugin will separate items or group of items by multi-vendors into assigned groups.)

Assign group to the categories you want to separate. Products of assigned categories will be grouped in separate orders categorically and none selected/assigned categories will remain in parent order.
