The same happens to me in different domains with different videos (some hosted on vimeo and others on Youtube).
If, when configuring the plugin, I mark that my website uses third party services from Vimeo or Youtube, even though the user accepts ALL cookies, the videos never load on the page.
In order for them to be displayed, I have to deactivate the boxes marked Youtube or Vimeo, depending on the case.
At this time they are displayed because the options are disabled.
If I turn them on again, the player is empty, with no video, no picture, no title, and when I hit “play” it doesn’t play anything.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @juanmaaranda,

Would you mind to temporarily enable the Youtube and Vimeo integrations, so I can investigate the issue? I will be awaiting your reply, so we can limit the time that the issue is shown on your front-end.

    Regards,
    Leon

    Of course Leon!
Now they are activated and the videos are not visible.

@juanmaaranda I just tested on your site using a private window and the placeholder, unblocking and videos seem to be working as expected. I only see that the videos are displayed smaller than they should be.

Could you test in a private/incognito window as well to confirm? It does not matter if I accept using the banner, or only accept functional cookies and then click the placeholder.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

@juanmaaranda We managed to reproduce your issue. Could you try if temporarily disabling the lazy-loading of videos helps? Complianz moves them to the footer as well, which is a form of lazy loading as well.

    ok, I see the error.
Anyway, disabling lazy loading I don’t think is a defined solution and that many cache plugins include it, even browsers will start to do it and it will be in the WordPress core …
In any case, thank you very much for your help.

@juanmaaranda so disabling lazy loading did solve the problem?

Complianz does the lazy loading for you, as the video is only loaded after consent and the Complianz runs in the footer of the page. Disabling the lazy loading of videos by your plugin should not have a negative impact on page speed.

    Kind regards,
    Leon
