wp-admin/index.php not found

The site is working fine but suddenly the Dashboard’s top menu “home” that links to https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/index.php returns a 404 not found, while the same URL without “index.php” at the end works fine.

Any idea about what would cause such error?
